Hello and greetings to you all on this last day of the workweek. Hope
that your day and weekend will go well, by God's matchless grace and
His providential care.
Here are today's two quotes for your consideration, pondering and reflection.
Before you take down a fence, make sure you learn why it was there in
the first place.
The most persistent threat to freedom, to the rights of Americans, is
fear. George Meany, 1894-1980
And there you have the two quotes, but stay tuned to how you can hear
our radio program on the Internet and the time to hear it.
The program will be broadcast live from noon to 12:30 PM today over the
facilities of the Radio Reading Network of Maryland, accessible via
http://www.radioreadingnetwork.org.
Just click on the link where it says "listeners" (without the quotes)
and hopefully the audio will start to play. Of course, you who are
more savvy techwise than I am can record it and play it back at your
leisure. At any rate, if you hear the show, I hope you enjoy it and
that you will send me private emails critiquing it, as that will
determine whether or not we should continue next Friday for the full
hour. Today is just a "dry run" broadcast.
And that will do it for today's quotes. Until you hear us later today
or until tomorrow when, Lord willing the Saturday quotes will be
posted, I am your obedient servant of the One who lived an earthly
existence, died to pay for your sins and mine, and now lives forever to
bring us His salvation and peace, Oil of Gladness.
