Hello to most of you on this Lord's Day when this message is being
written. I hope that your day is or went well, by God's matchless
grace and His providential care.
The apology is that I got up too late to post the two quotes for today.
As it turned out, I had time to do this, but not knowing when
Paratransit would come to take me to church I didn't want to be in the
middle of posting them and my cellphone started ringing. Hence the
apology. However tomorrow morning we will resume them.
And now for this week's Bible trivia game poem, one I'd get after the
first line. It's based on a passage from the New Testament. Let's see
how well you do with it.
Bridle the tongue, and the body is tame.
This little member's a billowing flame,
Sending forth blessing and cursing, with ease.
This sort of thing, my dear brother, should cease.
And there you have it for this week. As mentioned above if someone
else was running this game I'd get it right after the first line. But
what about you? Just post your replies, whether publicly or privately,
regarding book and chapter.
And that will do it for now. Until next Sunday when, Lord willing
another Bible trivia game poem will be posted, then from the Old
Testament, may the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob just keep us safe,
individually and collectively, in these last days in which we live.
Your Christian friend and brother, Paul
