[Faith-talk] question about connection to other people of faith

I have not seen Chad's inriginal email yet, but am sad that someone felt it necessary to make nasty -ts about Catholicism. I have tried to be careful about not being derogatory of other people's faith, or systems of beliefs and I would appreciate the same courtesy. You know nothing of Catholic teaching if you think that it is a "drive through" religion. Certainly there are liberal Catholics and more conservative Catholics, just as there ste differing synods of Lutherans, ELCA and Misouri Synod, for instance.    Debby P.S. There are also Southern Baptists, American Baptists, Primitive Baptists. There are Uoited Methodists and Free Methodists. There ste Evangelical Friends, and Quakers who aren't sure whether Jesus was resurrected or not. Enough said, I hope. Thank you David Andrews.    Debby
