Hello and greetings from a Baltimore that is seeing the last day of
Indian Summer. Oh well, we enjoyed it while it lasted, but all good
things must come to an end as someone wisely said or wrote long ago.

Here are today's two quotes for your consideration, pondering and reflection.

The most absurd and reckless aspirations have sometimes led to
extraordinary success. Vauvenargues (quote compiler's comment: I
remember hearing years ago that an employee of the firm Proctor and
Gamble walked by some electric towers when he noticed a chocolate bar
in his coat pocket was melting. This was the beginning of what would
later turn out to be the invention/creation of the microwave).

Each day of our lives we make deposits in the memory banks of our
children. Charles Swindoll

And there you have today's quotes. Don't know what timely literary
contribution I'll post later on, but stay tuned and you will find out.
Until tomorrow when, Lord willing more quotes will be posted, I am your
obedient servant of the One who lived an earthly existence, died to pay
for your sins and mine, and now lives forever to bring us His salvation
and peace, Oil of Gladness.
