[Faith-talk] {Spam?} The Purpose of This List

Well, everybody here is not a Christian, that is part of the point of 
all this discussion.  It however, doesn't mean that they aren't 
people of faith though.

I do not necessarily want to stop the discussion of the bible, or 
other texts, but I would like it better if people were a little more 
tolerant of others and their views. Unfortunately many people have 
two tendencies, 1. they want to be right, and 2. those with strong 
beliefs often want to convert and/or convince others.

We are the National Federation of the Blind, and they pay the bills 
for this list, and others. Consequently, some of what we discuss 
should be NFB and/or blindness related.  Don't get excited, I said 
some, not all. With any list each of us has to be tolerant of what 
she considers to be off-topic stuff.
