Hi Sandra, you make some great points. For all I know, the MB could have changed, since it's been at least twenty years or more since I took it.
I haven't taken that big test, the Personality one. LOL. Wow, I'm so excited because I got invited to join an email list for our diocese that I didn't even know existed. I think our Bishop is really trying to draw us all closer together and get folks more involved. I'm very happy about that.    Blessings,    Debby

Every comment was straight Scripture-text, to the point where I asked myself, “Does anyone actually live inside there—is there a real self in there?”; he just seemed so automaton-like, to me.

> Debby, I love your considerations about adaptations to the MB—while I like it compared to the inventory that tried to place people in the categories of “melancholic, phlegmatic, choleric and sanguine”—in that the MB, at least, seemed to allow for changes in traits over a person’s lifetime—I still think the MB needs some refining, based on issues we’ve touched on and others that may be brought up here. I’m also thinking, the world has changed so much since I last took it, so maybe those changes have forged changes in others’ temperaments/proclivities, and the MB should account for that, as well. BTW, I know there are some ministries that have a person take the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory. Has anyone taken that, and what was it like? Is there an accessible version, and is it self-scaled or does it require a professional to interpret?
