Yes, it makes sense, but, I talk to the one here that has been serviced, unfortunately, they have some believes that I will not abide by. And there's no if's and's or butts. So that's the end of that. But, the only ones that I could feel a part of and valuable is the rock 'n' roll churches, I don't like that, I'm not there to party.

I just don't know what I should do. Maybe just not go at all.

One thing I had to learn was hand signals. This doesn't make any sense to most people but some congregations have the option of the chalice or a tray with pre-poured cups. If you want a pre-poured cup, you just take it but if you don't you have to wave your hand like you're asking a car to pass. Then the person with the chalice comes behind. If you took the cup choice, then you just hold it until the acolyte with the empty tray comes by to collect cups. Other churches like ours has a big fishbowl on a stand in the middle of the aisle where you're supposed to dump your cup. We are trying to change that. People are so used to it, but I'm sorry, trying to find a glass fishbowl understand is obnoxious and time wasting. Not to mention I can see myself running over it or somebody with a wheelchair or Walker knocking it over. That's one of Chad's things he's going to work with counsel on when he gets back from NFB center training.

Some Catholic & Lutheran churches are more traditional than others meaning that they are high church – – like the pope on TV with lots and lots of ritual while others are low worship, like those extremely contemporary worship. Ritual in a Lutheran church has been tough to get used to! I had never seen a Lutheran pastor read from the big Bible held up by an assistant standing in the aisle. I still keep forgetting to turn towards the aisle when the gospel is read. I do love to hear the Psalms sung resonsively between congregation and choir. I like the traditional service and I hope it never goes away. Variety of music is one thing, but the structure of the service needs to be reverent. I don't know to explain it, but I think to make something work for you you have to immerse yourself into it. I guess I try to go into each service with the wide eyed wonder of a child open to anything. It's not just showing up for church, it's the attitude of actively participating, like a conversation with The Holy Spirit. Do i make any sense?

It seems in the catholic, and some Lutheran Church is that I have been to that dude in tinction that it's like going up like an e conveyor belt. But, that's the old traditional side, when you start something, and that kind of format, when you have never done it ever like that. Or heard of it done. That The communion rail is what you get used to.

The pastor of the church said that sorry the secretary at the church said that they would be happy to email me the service information so that I would know what was song and the prayers and all that stuff. So I did think it was nice. Oh, just out of curiosity :-) have you ever done communion by intention? When I've tried to do it I either don't get any wine on the wafer, or I somehow dipped my finger in the wine as I'm trying to dip the reefer. Either one is really funny. And, apparently I'm not the only one who has that problem, and people who see have the same issue. :-) I am not changing would it just put in your just because it made me laugh so anyway. I hope to hear from you soon. I have to find out to how far the church is from here. That's going to be something else to look into. Or whenever ministries/art activities/in any church whether they couldn't be able to get to and from. So, last to think about and pray about. Please pray for me and hope to hear from you soon :-)

I don't think there are policies out there to prohibit us from doing things in the churches I think it's just people who are acting with closed minds, eyes and hearts. Here Wendy would have asked you if you wanted to be in the choir if she heard you sing. I've been asked and I preferred to just be in the pew. It felt good to be asked.

It's the way I pray and praise God.

Are Lutheran Church is not dying and we have a nice combination of traditional, International, and contemporary music. We still meet in an actual church which is awesome of course as well! If you come up to Visit us we can help you out so you don't feel lost. Pastor Sue is awesome about people with disabilities and so are most of the people. They don't try to pour coffee for us anymore! They're slowly learning. You will be welcomed with open arms! And if we know it and advance Pastor Sue will make sure you have a braille copy of everything so you can follow along.
