[Faith-talk] Prayerrequest

It's not often that I ask people to pray for myself. However, here I am.

I have not strayed from God but I am struggling with impatience. In April it will be two years since I returned back to vocational rehab requesting to attend a training center. I am still stuck in this process. I am tired of not having a job. With no kids, I have nothing to talk to others about. This leads to isolation. This is the first time I have gone without either a volunteer job or a paid position. I know that I will never get one without center training. God has revealed that to me. I know God works in his own time but I need patience to endure this trial especially since I hear every day how my boyfriend is flourishing at Blind Inc. and he had more skills than I do going in there. I am fighting the low vision/no vision battle with vocational rehab. as they still cling to the idea that if you have any vision you must act sighted with magnifying devices. Years of this just caused scoliosis. They do not understand this. With new staff, they seem to not believe you when you say you know already what doesn't work. They want to send you to a little vision specialist even though you have been in the system forever. I am grateful for the WI NFB members that are helping me through this--Jeremiah Beasley, David Hyde, and our president of John Fritz.

Please keep me in prayer. Every day is very long and the fear of traveling alone keeps me indoors most of the time unless I have a ride. There's more that cannot be said because nobody would read this. It would be too long! Thank you everyone.
