[Faith-talk] Relationship Issues

Oh my gosh, I have so many stories about me being healed.
My favorite took place in Denver at a bus stop. This guy wanted to pray
for the group of us. Of course me being outspoken, told him that it fine
to pray for me, and I answered his question by saying that god had a
purpose for me being blind. He told me I was wrong. Then he proceeded to
pray for us and anoint us, and speak in tongues. The girl next to me left
marks on my leg with her nails. After he was done he told me that I was
full of the devil. Because god never means for anyone to be blind. Then
told us to wash our eyes 20 or more times. We will all see. I have to
say we had a heated discussion after he left while waiting on the bus.
That is just one of my stories.
Best,
Melissa R. Green And Pj

Hi,
I grew up in the Bible belt myself, only having come up here in 09 to
Illinois.
It seemed as though most of the churches that you walked into had to touch
your head and heal you. It was not OK for you to be blind. It was not
understood that they will be done in the Lords prayer means just that. If
he wills that you will see then that's fine what did they lay hands on you
or not.
Again, I am for size, to all churches north or south. That it is OK to be
blind. The Lord does not expect us all to see properly. If he did, there
would never be any blindness ever. There would be no blind people to heal
back in the day.
I am sure though, in those days as these that there were blind people that
not all blind people were healed even in Jesus time. So, if that's the
case then, why not now.
So, that's my two cents. For all it's worth :-) God bless you guys at
least till tomorrow
Jenny
