Unfortunately, I have nothing to do with Facebook. I only have to do with it because something of a group needs to be dealt with. And, that's the only reason. I don't get into it at Facebook at all. The LDS church as far as I have been there. Has always asked me to do things. I have always been asked to teach, talk to the kids, I'll kinds of stuff.

When I had a guide I got together with the kids in their classes. I talked about what guy dogs do and also, why they shouldn't be petted. The sad thing was the kids were more respectful about it then the adults :-)

Now, since I don't have a guide The kids aren't quite sure about the cane. Especially the younger ones. If the older ones are, they don't say anything.

Again, I'll be getting together with the whole primary class, oh about 5 to 13-year-old. And talk to them about the cane and what it does.

It's great, I feel like my blindness and any other disabilities in our church are addressed and respected. I'm sure, the other LDS churches are not quite that excepting. I've been told that some of them aren't. No thank God I have never run into that in the cities I lived in.

We also have a braille hymnal and various real information books whatever.

A lot of it though, Sunday school, scriptures, etc. are on an app that we can download on iOS or android

That, has been a huge help. I've never been able to do Sunday school, have a link or a Bible verse that was cited, and be able to click on it read it and go back to the book. That's been completely new to me.

Thank goodness it is on there. I'm sure, other churches or denominations will get there someday. If they aren't already.

New Testament like churches, non-denominational churches, will bend over backward for you, because they really live out the scriptures. Many Catholics are there out of guilt, or because it looks good to their community or family.

I think it's interesting people the article special needs special needs special needs it has every thing but lightness and yes a different special needs his mental and physical situation why this is a whole Nother beast. And people tend to forget that. Hence why we have to pay crap load the money for him though.

I can't afford to pay for paratransit to take me to choir practice, in fact, when I audition and was asked to be in the choir choir director told me that I was not going to be able to ask anyone for help in transportation in the choir in fact his words were don't expect anyone to help you get to and from from the choir. And I'm sorry, that's a little different.
