Hope you had a warm and welcoming Thanksgiving exclamation

Hi guys just because I have a posted in quite a while doesn’t mean that you are forgotten. For those of you who have been to training centers, it does take up a lot of your time and then you come home exhausted. Thank you all for the prayers that you have sent my way the last couple of months. They have save me and a lot of times where it has been pretty lonely, especially since I am one of the oldest full-time students. Thanks got more emotionally challenging ones Chad graduated November 2 and came back to Wisconsin leaving me in Minnesota.

On a happier note I have completed the first woodshop project, and nearly completed the Codemasters literary braille program. Anyone who wants to be a penpal, email me off-line and will trade addresses. Sandra, your letters half written and I’ll finish it when I get back today. Some of the cool things we have done that are out of the center were apple picking, and a steak(yes the meat) walk. The apples were made into applesauce. Many other recipes at the center. The steak walk was quite interesting. I still don’t like traveling in a large group! Staff and students had a route to follow which ended up at a staff person’s home where we were greeted by grilled steak and other yummies. Some of us were not required to take the 6 mile walk due to medical issues. It was nice taking buses part of the way! We celebrated Halloween by carving pumpkins without sight And all the cooking class students plus some other ones which was a pick and all the cooking class students plus some other ones were supposed to take requests made a gigantic Thanksgiving day dinner which we put on November 17. See how busy we are?

Probably the most exciting thing though was when Chad graduated. Crazy stories are shared at graduation I understand. I think I was the only person to ever get to post to by a graduate!

Wishing you all the best and my prayers are with you who are struggling. I do read some of these on occasionally and you’re all in my prayers. Blessed Advent to all!
