[Faith-talk] The Sermon on the Mount

Hey guys!
I just pray to Jesus with the same words as I use to talk to anyone else.
For example:
I say:
Please Jesus, we have had a hard day!
Please give us the peace and the patience to cope with this day before we go off on someone.
Bless this food, and show us how to eat healthy!
You can talk to Jesus just like he is a person.
That is how he wants us to talk to him.
He does not expect us to use different fancy words and all of that to get personal with us and for us to get personal with him.

I thought the same thing. When I pray and/or say grace, maybe God gets
tired of hearing the same old words in the same order. I try to listen
as I pray. Often they are a lot of clichés. Good point!
