[Faith-Talk] Using Prayer Books

There are two ways I typically approach this.

I often go to a Christian library such as my local Seminary library and there is always someone willing to cut and paste info from the prayer book and the particular verses from the Bible into one easy to read file. Often there are also people at my church willing to help.
Another way I do this is by having the prayer book on a Braille device and having the Bible in Braille or audio that is not on the same device. It can be clumsy at times though.
Hope this helps....

In my devotional life, I find the use of prayer books extremely helpful—the 1928 Book of Common Prayer is a particular favorite. Because these books are often difficult to come by in braille, besides being large, I tend to use electronic files. I find, however, that this method seems to be much more challenging than a sighted person with a print version. I have a difficult time, for example, easily flipping between the lectionary (which you use to find readings), the main prayer service, and my electronic Bible without it getting fairly confusing and taking awhile. This can be particularly disruptive if I am doing it with someone else. Does anyone have suggestions for tackling this problem?
