Subject: Re: [Faith-Talk] About - BibleCourier talking Bible for the Blind

It's funny you should bring that up. I've been looking for something to give
me quick access to Bible passages myself. I'm reluctant to get this Bible
Currier, but more because I'm not a fan of its electronic voice. I wonder if
it might be time for them to find a newer voice for it.

I also happen to be a smart phone user, so I'm looking for apps. I also
happen to have a Bluetooth keyboard, so if I need to search for a passage,
it's not that difficult to type it into the app, whatever it is. I'm looking
for an app that will

Allow me to use my favorite versions of the Bible, the NIV and the New
Living Translation. I don't want an app that limits you to the King James
Bible due to the outdated language. Sure, I realize some people like that
version of the Bible, but it's just not for me.

I also want an app that offers the option of text using Voiceover or
pre-recorded audio.

The app also needs to be good with Voiceover.

Do any of you have app recommendations. I'm not sure what's out there. Any
ideas? Thanks.
