No matter our faith, our places of worship offer us wonderful opportunities to serve our communities by using our talents. However, many blind people find that blindness can present challenges that prevent them from being treated as equals in those environments. How do we overcome those barriers and work toward leadership in our communities of faith? How should we deal with those who share our faith, but use it to justify their stereotyped ideas about blindness?

To learn the answers to these questions and many more, join the NFB Performing Arts Division and the NFB in Communities of Faith tonight at 8 PM Eastern for a joint membership call about performing and serving in faith-based environments.
