Hello,
	Thanks for forwarding the recording of the presentation.
	It was mentioned that a tactile system was developed several years
prior to the Braille system.  Can you provide some details?  Was this a
representation of an alphabet?  If so, what alphabet?  Were there
instruments for embossing, and on what materials were these embossed?  Are
there samples to be viewed - possibly in a museum, etc.?
