Good afternoon All,

Tom Anderson asked me to send this to you.

Change of Status:
In an effort to streamline activities overalll in the National Federation of the Blind, our national board of directors has decided to discontinue some divisions. The NFB in Communities of Faith has been discontinued as a division, and is now a group. Various faiths now have group status. Our group is now known as Blind Christians Group.
Purpose: to connect blind people who share in the Christian Faith Traditions, to share resources, and promote the inclusion of blind people in all aspects of faith practiced throughout local communities. I currently serve as Chairman of this group. Members of groups within the NFB are not expected to pay dues. It is my desire that we continue to keep a register of those who wish to further the activities of this group. I will continue to work with the past officers of the NFB In Communities of Faith and others who wish to further the activities of this group.
We plan to hold a meeting on Monday July 3, 2023 at the national convention from 6 to 9 PM. Publishers of faith based literature will speak with us regarding the activities of their respective organizations.We will  also have devotions one hour prior to the morning convention sessions on July 4, 5, and 6.
