I went through the International Fellowship of chaplains.


It only pertained to Chaplaincy as a Christian.

Nothing else.
I'm getting licensed and Ordained through them.

Did you complete CPE as part of your M.Div. degree? This is part of the
requirement for chaplaincy.

Hi Justin.
Yes, you need a board if you establish your own nonprofit. If you work for
an existing nonprofit like a hospital or a hospice organization, they
already have their board established. 
Have you done a CPE unit? There are thoussands and thousands of chaplaincy
postings right now. It is a good field to get into if you can find a
supervisor who is open-minded. I was limited to a articular geographical
area with limited vacancies and the supervisors were not open-minded. That
is how I ended up in academia.

hello.

thank you for allowing me to join the list.

 

I am headed into chaplaincy and was wondering if there are any chaplains who
are Blind for me to just talk too.

 

Also, I'd like to talk with anyone who has a religious non-prophet as that I
am considering using that when I go into the field.

 

I've read that you need a board for one of those, so maybe a non-prphet
would be better?

 

I'm not sure.

 

I would appreciate your assistance.
