Andrew,
All of us are blind people. We take time to proofread our emails. Just as we
don't know your circumstances, you also don't know ours. Please be as
respectful as you want us to be. I am very disheartened by your emails to
Linda and myself. We have offered you constructive suggestions that will
help you to improve your situation and communicate effectively. You have
responded by trying to convince us why you cannot do basic things. This is
not how you advocate, and it demonstrates why you are having difficulties.
I am acquainted with a number of blind people who live in Canada and are
active in their churches. They are becoming active by having a positive
attitude about what they can do. When they receive suggestions about
improving their lives, they act upon them. They don't criticize the people
who send them.
If you don't want to do the things people suggest, that is your choice. But
please understand that these are all things that someone has suggested to
each of us at some time, and we have all done them in order to make our
lives better. We are suggesting them because we know why these things work.
No one is judging you. We are giving you the tools that we have used in our
own lives.
Last, if you are feeling a lot of anger right now, it may be a good time to
walk away from your computer.
.

Andrew!
Linda is the moderator, so be careful!
She is right. You need to act like an adult and that means advocacy.
I am appalled what you wrote to her. I still hope you can take our
suggestions and also get some help as its obvious you need counseling.
Linda, Sarah, and I have pointed out your problems of spelling and not being
articulate, not to be judgmental, but to help you out.
I know you have another disability, but if its possible to proofread and
edit your email, please do so. Its being polite and having etiquette online.
I have taken much time from my day to write because I'm a Christian who
cares about people being included and using their talents to serve God and
the community.
I hope it did not go to waste.
Sincerely,
Ashley
