Hi Judy,
Sounds good; I'll be in touch!
Which type of church do you go to?
I do like your advice to Andrew to take baby steps. Its obvious he is
overwhelmed and clueless what to do or where to go. Rejection is hard and
can put you in a down state of mind.
I've experienced most rejection with employment being turned down. What I
hate about trying to find work is that they say you need more experience.
Often rejection notices state that they chose someone with more experience.
But, how can you get experience if no one hires you? It's a catch 22.
As for church, there are few people my age there and for me that is a factor
in lack of socialization. We do not have regular small groups. There are
occasional church wide service ministry projects such as next Saturday's
sandwich making called the Great Patrol. It's a Methodist church btw.
Sometimes the church runs drives to sent to partner organizations; such as
the school supply drive coming up and for December, we have a mitten drive.
Maybe I might do something occasionally. I'm a young adult in my opinion
still and often a kid at heart so maybe I should try to work with the youth
in their youth group.
Anyways you sound like a real nice person and its wonderful you and your
husband are active in your church.
Everyone, its Sunday now, so for us Christians, enjoy the day with the Lord!
Ashley
PS: Linda sorry the email thread was too long. I forgot how to stop the
replies from being included. I've researched it and done that now. So, here,
replies will not be below the message moving forward!
