[Faith-Talk] Praying for Healing

So we went to the new campus for us this weekend our churches main campus.
I was talking with the gentleman to my left and Tony was to my right and
the gentleman introduced himself to us and asked us if he could pray for
us. My first thought was oh here we go again. But it wasn't for praying for
healing from blindness, it was just praying for everything to go well for
us. So I thought that was nice and it was a relief to not have it be
related to our blindness as my feeling is God has a purpose for our lives
as they are. And people need to learn to accept us as we are and that we
are real whole people not not broken people leading terrible lives or that
kind of thing. When I guess I'm trying to say is it's not terrible to be
blind like everyone thinks it is. But it was nice that he did not pray that
prayer and just prayed for good things for us so that was nice because like
some of you I've had plenty of people in my life pray that my blindness is
gone in fact when I was little and live with my grandma, she took me to see
someone who supposedly could heal people from from blindness and other
things and he pressed on one of my eyes and I don't remember what he said
but we were leaving and I asked her what was to my left and she asked if I
could see it. I couldn't but I could hear it and she told me what it was.
