I grew up congregational, but I am Evangelical Lutheran Church in America or the Liberal Lutheran. If you want to call us that. I’ve been teaching Sunday school for years and it’s a lot of fun. Even if you are coaching with someone. One year I had 14 preschoolers and no Helper! it was a blast. I’ve done a lot of things through my church, including being a representative for a non-denominational well actually ecumenical social change organization. Nowadays in Janesville here I’ve had medical issues and wasn’t able to do things like I did when I lived in Kenosha. Also, I’ve had a lot of family stuff going on and some of you know. I am happily doing what I can for others, caring for creation and services. I serve communion almost every Sunday. We also do help with our local food pantry. Our church is very small, about 40 people on a good Sunday. I have zero musical skills , so I don’t help my husband doesn’t sing at all because he just doesn’t feel it’s right. He sings in his heart.
