Thanks for all of your condolences.  My husband Bruce was a very special
person. He fought cancer valiantly for almost seven years, but ultimately
lost the battle.  I think God was merciful and cut his pain and suffering
short by means of a catastrophic stroke from which he could not recover.  I
find it comforting that his home going was so final and irreversible.  I can
just imagine what he is doing up there, that he is feeling better than he
ever has, that he is more alive than he has ever been, and that he is in the
presence of Jesus our Lord. Now I need to be ready when it is my turn.
