Hello all,
I just wish to clarify since Linda's messages are not coming through in regular English.
Yes, Justin, it is a real message from her. I read the attachment and it is real and sounds like Linda.
The note basically said she is aware of her weird messages but there is little she can do about it.
I wish Linda could use a computer to adjust settings to fix her messages.

For everyone else, the list serve software has a bug making many messages come out gibberish.
But, for us pc users, you can change your email settings to plain text format to send messages. Or  html text if plain does not work.
You can also send messages as attachments as Linda did, but I recommend changing your mail settings first to see if the list will accept them with readable text first.
To do this in Outlook, go to the file tab by pressing alt F, and then select options by arrowing down and hitting enter on options. In the options dialogue box, there are mail settings and this is where you have a setting to send outgoing mail.
Select the option you want.
In other email programs, you have something similar.

So, I hope that clarifies for Justin and anyone else. It was in fact from Linda, not spam.

I do hope this bug can be fixed soon. I, too, have gotten several emails which are unreadable which is bad because I'm sure we have great information to share with each other.
