The thing is even though i walk sometimes to places for example for me
other days it is hard to want to I think there is to many crazy people
these days for example. I have days all i will do is take transportation
that is the thing.
And my guide dog got attacked so I am always listening for signs of
agression from the other dog and stuff like that.
There are times i just don't feel safe in a sence and sometimes I would
rather not go out because this world is so dangerous in a sence. a rot
wiler coming at my dog is very unexceptablee. I did all the correct follow
up that is only good thing.
Far as those advocacy skills sure I have in certain situations but other
situations and other settings where situation is more complicated that
advocacy is way more difficault for me because I never been taught those
advocacy skills because and yes i went to regular school for most part but
also i spent very last part of my schooling in a school for the blind.
I just was not prepaired by the school to meet the real world.
and real world situations.
I have developmental delay whatever that means for me at least that i was
told and stuff like that.
There is allot less blind resources here in canada not saying there isn't
any but here in Canada there is not allot of blindness training except for
once or twice a month with a rehab instructor.
I really don't feel all that confident in myself that is the thing. I have
to do stuff to be able to gaine that confidence or at least whatever.
Most blind people are in the city for the most part or ones I have talked
to with the exception of a few but i think large number are in more of a
city going by what I am hearing.
