Subject: [Faith-Talk] Personal Prayer Request
Hi All,
Please excuse the somewhat personal nature of this note. Usually, I reserve posts on listservs to topics of public interest. But I think this particular prayer request is cause for as much prayer as possible, so I’m posting it here as long as the moderator will let me.
As several of you know, I have epilepsy, and (Praise the Lord) it has been under control for the past 3 years. In the last week, I have experienced daily episodes of some kind (I don't know whether to call them seizures) where my legs start shaking uncontrollably and I feel very unsteady, sometimes for up to an hour. I talked with my doctor today and we have a plan which will at least get me through until my appointment with her on August 19, so I'm praying that the changes she has made to my medication to make these seizures (or whatever they are) end.
On a similar note, I've been working with an intern from one of the NFB training centers. Her graduation is tomorrow, and both she and I have been excited about me coming to support her. I'm asking for prayers for Cassi as she begins college, and for my healing so that no seizures will happen tomorrow morning so I can go to her graduation.
Thanks in advance for your prayers. I'll keep you posted.
Blessings,
Chris Nusbaum
