Hi, everyone.

I just joined the FLAGDU list and am pleased to be here.
My name is Dan Weiner (pronounced to rhyme with "miner")--smile--and I have
been using guide dogs and enjoying it for the last fifteen years.
My current puppy is a spunky, sometimes goofy, and hard-working black lab
named Carter.  I also have my retired fourteen-year-old pup, Evan.

I live in the Orlando area and am a member of the Greater Orlando Chapter.

I thought I'd just jot a short note to say "hello" to everyone.

Edwin, we're certainly glad to have you, though remember, what your getting
in place of your snow is muggy heat and humidity in the summer--grin--that
can be hard to take too.
Also, my friendly advice is be careful where you settle here or you might be
somewhere you'll have no public transportation or no para-transit to speak
of, so just look before you leap.  
Marion, always good to see you.  I'm curious about the ownership question:
What schools do grant ownership.  From what I'm seeing, it's slim pickings
at least on that question.

Anyway, take care, all.  I'll post when I think I have something worthwhile
to say, otherwise I'll just enjoy what everyone else says.
