[Flagdu] FLAGDU on the move

Hi all,

I just got off the phone from our FLAGDU board meeting.  We all agreed we
would like to explore holding a workshop/seminar/whatever we choose to call
it in conjunction with our state convention next year in St. Pete.  Mind
you, we're just in the thinking stage, but we have to start somewhere, and I
wanted to share this idea on the list.  If we come up with a very
informative theme, folks can take advantage of the very reasonable hotel
rates in a beautiful setting, and gain some good information to boot.  It's
still early, but I wanted to plant the seed as I said in my previous post.
We'll keep you posted, and see where this leads.  Our next Board meeting
will be open to all, with time for questions, comments and suggestions.
I'll announce it in plenty of time on this list.

I hope we start to become a livlier list.  We may not have quite as cute a
name as WAGDU, but we wave our guide dog division flag proudly!  Sorry, I
couldn't help myself.
