Hi Ralph,

To be a member of the Florida Association of Guide Dog Users (FLAGDU), which
then you are automatically a member of the National Association of Guide Dog
Users (NAGDU) dues need to be sent to Mike Lamb, Treasurer of FLAGDU.

Currently, I do not have Mike's address, either Mike can respond to you if
he's on this listserv, or when I get the updated list I'll be happy to send
you his information.  Our President is on vacation for a few weeks so I
won't have a membership list until she returns.

Our dues are $5 if you belong to a local NFB chapter, if not they are $8
which then gives you membership into the state affiliate.

I am pleased to announce that the membership of the National Association of
Guide Dog Users elected the following to its Board of Directors:

Marion Gwizdala (Florida), President;
Sherrill O'Brien (Florida), Secretary;
Tina Thomas (California), Member of the Board; and
Meghan Whalen (Wisconsin), Member of the Board.

These members will serve a two-year term. Also, continuing on the Board are
the
following:

Michael Hingson (California), Vice President
Toni Whaley (Pennsylvania), Treasurer; and
Margo Downey (New York); Member of the Board

Congratulations to all newly elected and continuing members of our Board of
Directors. Together we are changing what it means to be blind for guide dog
users!
In addition, the membership approved new amendments to its constitution in
order to comply with IRS requirements under Section 501(C)(3).
