[Flagdu] B&B

Thanks for that info, Jody. When you google these terms, the good news is
there are lots of places which do permit service animals, though I sure
wouldn't want to show up at one of these places without having first
mentioned my dog to the B and B owners.

On this same discussion of admitting of service animals, I believe many are
under the assumption that the ADA covers churches, when in fact it doesn't.
If a church didn't welcome me with my dog, I certainly wouldn't join it, but
they do have the right to say no.

Hi all,

This info would found about B&B:

The law on vacation rental units is very similar to the FHA (though it is
under the ADA, not the FHA) in that if the owner rents less than 4 units (or
less than 4 rooms in cases of a bed and breakfast or hotel) and does not use
a rental agency, then they are exempt from the ADA and do not have to allow
service animals.

JODY
