Dear Merry,
I know how long and hard you have worked to attain the honor you will be
receiving this evening. I have never seen anyone as dedicated - determined
no matter what to get that Master's Degree. Obtaining a MSW is not easy - in
fact it is extremely difficult. Like Marion said...You will make an
excellent social worker and a true credit to the profession. 

Warmest congratulations. Tom Davis is no doubt smiling in Heaven! You know
how much he admired you and Marion as do I.

Dear Fellow Federationists,
    I am so very proud to announce to you that my wife, Merry Christmas
Schoch, is receiving her Master of Social Work degree from the University of
South Florida! Tonight she will participate in her hooding ceremony in which
she was elected by her cohort to be the Student Speaker. Tomorrow she will
have her commencement ceremony at the Tampa Convention Center. I am so very
proud of Merry and know she will be a tremendous asset to the field of
Social Work and to those she will serve.
    Merry serves as the Vice President of the Florida Association of Guide
Dog Users (FLAGDU), a strong and proud division of the National Association
of Guide Dog Users. Her accomplishment culminates a long and, at times,
challenging journey! I am blessed to be a part of her life!
