Hello list,

This is the letter I sent to the nfbf leaders list. I realize a few of you
have already seen it, but I wanted to let our list know about this idea.
Perhaps some of you may want to mention this to your chapter president to
help move the process along and to generate interest.

Hello all,

The Florida Association of Guide Dog Users (Flagdu) would like to increase
communication between our division and all our Nfbf chapters. To do this, we
would like to have a representative to Flagdu, appointed by the president
from each chapter. If your chapter's president is not on this list, could
you please let them know about this. They are welcome to call me, and my
contact information follows this email.

Alicia Betancourt has been appointed as the Daytona Beach chapter's rep. Now
we'd love to have enthusiastic reps from all the rest of your chapters! Of
course a guide dog user would be the most logical choice, but having a guide
dog certainly isn't required. The person appointed might currently have a
retired guide, or might be interested in obtaining a dog in the future.

Serving as a chapter rep to flagdu would not require alot of time and
effort, but it could positively impact our division and guide dog issues in
our local communities.
