Oh Sherri, you are in a tough situation with your Bailey. Only you can
determine when it is time to let her go. I fully understand how difficult it
must be to deal with Bailey's failing health and it must be incredibly tough
for you to tell or find where she has gone to the bathroom. We who adore our
dog guides eventually reach the point when we have to say...I'll see you at
the Rainbow Bridge. As Merry said, there is always the option of diapers.
Probably your sweet girl just can't hold her bowels any longer now that she
is up there in age. My heart aches for you as you try to come to terms with
the entire situation.
I will keep you in my prayers asking for God's guidance and comfort.

Love and hugs,

Kathy

As some of you probably know, I have a yellow lab, Bailey, who is almost 15
and a half years old. She is still in pretty good health, but she has lots
of accidents inside, particularly pooping. I can take her outside, wait and
wait and then bring her in and she goes. Other than some arthritis, which
she is on medication for, she is pretty healthy. The other day when I was
taking her downstairs (My apartment is on the second story) she actually
pooped while we walked as we went down the stairs. I didn't find it until I
was bringing her back in. I had no idea she was going. I am at a loss as
to what to do. She is such a good girl and we are so very close, but this
is really bothering me. This occurs at least twice a day. Any suggestions
would be appreciated. Thank you.
