Subject: Assistance in Identifying Participants

Hello,

Our practice, The Center for Sleep & Wake Disorders, in Chevy Chase,
Maryland, is currently conducting a clinical trial in your area on the
efficacy and safety of a new experimental treatment with blind individuals
with Non-24-hour sleep wake disorder (N24HSWD). Poor quality or quantity of
sleep is a common complaint, especially in blind individuals with no light
perception. N24HSWD occurs in some individuals who are totally blind and
lack the light sensitivity necessary to reset the "body clock".
We are working to identify potential subjects to participate in this study
and were wondering of any possible ways your organization could assist us in
disseminating study related information to possible subjects through venues
such as advertising through your organization or scheduling a speaking
engagement visit. I have attached a brochure about blindness and N24HSWD
which gives more information on this disorder.
Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you so much for your
time and I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Jaime
