[Greater-baltimore] Sub Minimum Wage Hearing

Hello everyone,

This message is to inform you that, once again, the hearing for the bill
which would make it legal to pay subminimum wages has been postponed.  The
new date is now August 3.  I will pass along more details about this as I
receive them.  Also, I will be taking part in a conference call this Sunday
evening in order to discuss strategies for getting the word out about this
damaging bill.  I will share information from this call with all of you in
hopes that we will be able to organize the signing of some petitions and
also perhaps some public rallies to raise awareness.

Thank you so much for your patience!  Thank you also for your calls to
Senator Mikulski; please also feel free to call Senator Cardin's office
ifyou have not all ready done so.  We must keep the pressure on in order to
stop this bill right where it is!
