Attention blind parents, caregivers, or individuals who are
interested in learning how to care for children and/or raise a family as a
blind person (even if you don't have any children of your own) . This
Saturday the MD Blind Parents group will be meeting at the Library for the
Blind for our monthly meeting. WE will meet at 10:00 a.m. Just inside the
children's area. Please come join us for some sharing and discussion about
parenting challenges and possible strategies. I'd also like to talk to the
group about planning a potential family activity later this summer, so bring
your ideas. The library is located at 419 Park Ave, Baltimore. Please let
me know if you will be coming so we can have a count. Children are welcome
to attend, but no child care will be provided. If you have questions, or
suggestions for topics to discuss this time, please email me at
mjhartle23 at gmail.com or call me at 318.243.4135. Hope to see you there!

Baltimore City BIG TRUCK Day

Hello everyone,
Since our hike happened on schedule, here's a fun event for people of all
ages coming up in Baltimore this Saturday. A great chance for blind kids
and adults to really check out some cool vehicles. I believe the
Riccobono's will be attending with our kids.
Melissa
