Dear Fellow Federationists:

This is a reminder that the meeting of the Greater Baltimore chapter will take place tomorrow at the NFB Jernigan Institute, located at 200 East Wells Street in Baltimore. The meeting will begin at 10 a.m. and will be followed by our annual chapter picnic, so plan your transportation accordingly; you don't want to miss the fun and fellowship of our picnic. Because the presidents and treasurers of many of our affiliates are participating in a seminar this weekend, the meeting will be held in the dining room, and we will also enjoy the picnic there and on the deck immediately outside it, weather permitting, after the meeting.

Also, I want to remind members that the dates of our October and November chapter meetings have been changed. The October chapter meeting will take place on Saturday, October 11, in light of the running of the Baltimore Marathon on our usual meeting date and the resulting difficulty in members being able to come to the meeting. The November meeting will take place on November 8, since many of us will be attending our state convention on November 15, which would normally be our meeting day. Please keep these date changes in mind as you make plans.

Back to tomorrow's meeting, if you have items for the meeting agenda, please let me know. All of my contact information is below. I look forward to seeing all of you tomorrow.

Sincerely:

Chris Danielsen, Chapter President

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back.
