Hello All,

A group of students from the University of Maryland at College Park will be
visiting with us on Saturday. They are part of the Haptic Team, which is
creating a vibrating screen that will help blind people feel images. They
think that their device will be especially useful for blind children and
adults who are studying math.

I need adult totally blind adult volunteers to look at the device and
provide feedback. We will be doing it before and after the Chapter meeting.
It only takes about 15 minutes. We also need children to talk to the team
about what they do in their math class.

Adults, please send me your name off-list if you are able to help with this
project. Parents, please let me know if you are bringing your children,
and if you will permit them to talk to these college students. The children
can do this while the Chapter meeting is in progress. I will set up a
schedule for both adults and children, so please get back to me ASAP. It is
important for us to help these college students so that they develop a
device that is really useful to us.

Thanks in advance for your help.
