UNITED GOALBALL ASSOCIATION
CELEBRATES VETRENS!!!

Join United Goalball Association for its first annual Veterans Day clinic.
Goalball is a team sport that was developed after World War II, to
assist in the rehabilitation of wounded Soldiers. This sport is played
from a local level to the para-Olympic level and is designed
specifically for the visually impaired. Goalball is played by two
teams of three; with the maximum of three substitutes. The object is
to roll a basketball-size-ball across a goal line while the other team
attempts to block the ball. UGA will celebrate Veterans Day by
teaching any active military personnel or veterans how to play
goalball. UGA welcomes any Veterans to our event Regardless of
Disability.
