[Greater-Baltimore] Disability Rights Maryland Presidential Election Forums

Hi Everyone,

This fall Disability Rights Maryland (formerly Maryland Disability Law Center) will host two 2016 presidential election voters' forums for the disability community. The NFB of Maryland is a co-sponsor of both events.

The first forum will take place on Wednesday, September 28, 2016, 1:00 - 3:00 PM, at Dove Pointe in Salisbury, Maryland. The second forum will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2016, 12:00 noon - 2:00 PM, at The League for People with Disabilities in Baltimore.

Participants of the forum will be able to:

*       Register to vote

*       Learn what the Democratic and Republican campaigns say about important disability issues

*       Practice using the accessible ballot marking machine

Please see the attached flyer for additional information and directions to the forums. There is no charge to attend these events. Be sure to take advantage of this opportunity to become informed and then make your voice heard by voting during Maryland's early voting period, October 27 - November 3, or on Election Day, November 8!
