[Greater-Baltimore] Announcement from the Bureau of Engraving and Printing

Please read the announcement from the Bureau of Engraving and Printing below and consider participating so that the input of blind people will be considered as new features for U.S. paper money are developed.

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) appreciates your interest in participating in tactile feature testing which will be conducted on Tuesday, March 28, 2017.  BEP is looking for eight to ten volunteers who are totally blind or who have little useful vision to provide feedback on a potential raised tactile feature for future U.S. currency.  Each participant will be assigned an individualized appointment time, lasting approximately 45 minutes.  BEP will take the first appointment at 9:00 a.m. and the last appointment at 1:00 p.m.  The testing will be held at The National Federation of the Blind Jernigan Institute, 200 East Wells Street at Jernigan Place, Baltimore, MD 21230.
