Dear Chapter Colleagues,

Somehow the week before a chapter meeting always seems to fly by. So I hope that many of you are remembering that our regularly scheduled chapter meeting will occur on Saturday, February 17 at 10:00 a.m. The meeting lasts approximately two hours, but sometimes our business keeps us longer. We will meet as usual at NFB headquarters at 200 East Wells Street, Baltimore, MD 21230 in the Utah auditorium on the fourth floor.

It is time to pay your 2018 dues, if you haven't done so already. Also, we are updating our membership records. So it would be very helpful, if you could share with me your home address as well as your preferred phone number and email contact information. I would also like to know which county you live in. Please email me this information off list at eringlein at nfb.org.

One of the items of business tomorrow is how we can help to move the NFB of Maryland's legislative agenda forward.

There will be two hearings next week in Annapolis and we need folks to go both on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon. There are actually two hearings on Thursday, so if you can come only one day, please make that Thursday, as we may have to split up our group so that we have a presence at both hearings that day. If you won't be able to make the chapter meeting and you are available to attend one or both hearing days, please email me off list at eringlein at nfb.org<mailto:eringlein at nfb.org> or call me at (410) 659-9314, extension 2421.

I look forward to seeing many of you on Saturday.

Cordially,

Ellen Ringlein, President
