Dear Fellow Federationists:

This is a note to let you know that the Greater Baltimore Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind of Maryland will be meeting on Saturday, April 18, 2020, beginning at 10 a.m. Because of the coronavirus pandemic, our national President and board of directors have suspended in-person federation meetings until at least May 31. As a result, rather than meeting at the NFB Jernigan Institute, we will be using the conferencing platform Zoom to hold our meeting, which means you will not have to arrange transportation or take a single step outside your home. Below is the information you will need to participate in the meeting. You can join the meeting on your smart phone or computer using the link, or you can dial one of the listed telephone numbers and then enter the meeting ID and password. (If using the link on your smart phone, you should download the Zoom app first; it's free from your app store.) If you have a smart phone you can also use the "one tap mobile" option and the phone number and meeting ID will automatically be dialed for you. Here's a link to a great free audio tutorial on using Zoom: https://mosen.org/zoom

Please be sure to click the link or dial in on time for the meeting, which will begin promptly at 10AM as mentioned above. Please also be sure to pass this information along to members who do not have email.

Warmly,

Chris Danielsen, Chapter secretary
