Dear fellow Federationists:

I'm writing to share information with you about our longtime member and friend carol Siegel, at the request of her partner Ken crane. We received an update from Ken as to carol's condition on April 2; I am unaware if more current information is available.

As many of you know, carol had a seizure and it was determined that she had a baseball-sized brain tumor. This was removed on March 4. She was moved to a nursing home on March 12, and she has not recovered well from the surgery according to ken. She is currently unable to care for herself and speaks only to answer yes-or-no questions. I have included contact information for Carol at the nursing home where she is currently staying. Ken advises that she will not answer the phone herself, but some of our members have been able to call and speak to her. It is hoped that Carol may recover more brain function over time. I am sure all of you will join me in sending our thoughts and prayers to carol and Ken during this difficult time and in the sincere hope that Carol will fully recover.

As mentioned above Carol's current contact information is:
Manor Care
509 East Joppa Road
Room 117
Bed 2
Towson, Maryland 21226
Telephone: (410) 828-9494

Ken can be emailed at kenneth at samobile.net<mailto:kenneth at samobile.net> or reached by phone at 410-618-9010.

Warmly,

Chris Danielsen, Chapter secretary
