[Greater-Baltimore] Gathering Information about Fix Route Buses

Hello everyone,

The Advocacy and Policy Committee of the Greater Baltimore Chapter met this
evening, and we are looking for information regarding problems people might
be having with fixed route buses in Baltimore. We have heard that many buses
no longer announce what route number they are when the bus stops and the
doors open. Have people had this experience recently? If so, is it on one or
two particular routes, or is it something happening all of the time with all
buses? How have announcements been inside the buses themselves? Are they
working always, often, occasionally, or never? Any other bus issues you
believe our committee should be aware of? We certainly hope to advocate for
improvement, and we appreciate any information you can give to help us
understand better what is happening in the real world.

We realize there are also many severe problems with MTA Mobility. We are
definitely going to be looking at these problems in detail in the future.
Also, we may very well have a resolution regarding Mobility at our upcoming
state convention. When we are ready to gather information about Mobility, we
will let you know. For now we are particularly interested in problems with
the fix route buses. Thank you.
