Hello all:

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation (different than the state DOT or Maryland Transit Administration) is beginning the public input process on its draft ADA transition plan. It will be seeking comments on pedestrian infrastructure, including sidewalk access, audible pedestrian signals, etc. There is an informational meeting tomorrow night which will outline the public input process. I encourage everyone with an interest in these issues to attend. I will follow up with more details if I can, but I have pasted the basic information below.

If you plan to be there, please let me know by emailing me at cdanielsen at nfb.org<mailto:cdanielsen at nfb.org>. I may follow up with you to do some planning if there are opportunities for us to speak at the meeting.

Warmly,

Chris
