Dear Federation Family:

This is a reminder that the monthly meeting of the Greater Baltimore Chapter
of the National Federation of the Blind of Maryland is this Saturday, March
18, at the NFB Jernigan Institute, 200 East wells Street, Baltimore MD
21202. You'll want to arrive early because the Maryland Parents of blind
Children are serving a free breakfast beginning at 9 a.m. After breakfast,
the meeting will begin promptly at 10 a.m. in the NFB of Utah auditorium.
Throughout the meeting, you'll have the opportunity to support the MDPOBC by
purchasing delicious baked goods through both an auction and a concurrent
sale of smaller items. So, come with your appetite and your cash, card, or
checkbook. Of course, we'll also have our regular meeting agenda items,
including the Presidential release, state report, and a discussion of some
exciting upcoming chapter activities. I hope to see all of you there!

We apologize, but because of some technical and logistical challenges that
we are experiencing, we will not be able to offer a Zoom option for this
meeting. Don't worry, we are not permanently abandoning Zoom, we are just
suspending it temporarily. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience this
causes.

A few other things to keep in mind:

*	Please do not attend the meeting if you have a fever or are feeling
ill.
*	If the transmission level for COVID-19 in our area remains low,
masks are recommended, but not required, to be worn, consistent with the
most recent revision to our affiliate in-person events policy. For further
details, please read the full Policy for In-person gatherings
<https://nfbmd.org/eventpolicy> instituted and recently revised by the
board of directors of the national federation of the blind of Maryland.
*	Unrelated to the coronavirus but also for health and safety, please
remember that the NFB of Maryland has a no-fragrance policy for in-person
events. Please do not wear perfume, cologne, fragrant aftershave, etc., as
some of our Federation family members have allergies or other health issues
triggered by these items.

I look forward to seeing you all at what is sure to be a lively and yummy
gathering!

Warmly,

Chris Danielsen, Chapter President
