[Greater-Baltimore] Greater Baltimore Chapter Meeting Reminder

Hello Federationists:

This is a reminder that the monthly meeting of the Greater Baltimore Chapter
of the National Federation of the Blind of Maryland will take place this
Saturday, July 19. As discussed at our last meeting, we will be gathering at
the Federation headquarters-but please note the change in meeting location.
Instead of meeting in the Utah Auditorium, we will be in the fourth floor
conference room.

Greeters will be available to assist those unfamiliar with getting to the
conference room. To find it: walk straight down the hallway where the
auditorium is located and continue past it into the staff lunchroom-you'll
know you're there when the flooring changes from carpet to tile. Walk all
the way through the lunchroom until the carpet resumes, then turn left and
walk down that hallway. You'll pass an opening on your left for the freight
elevator and restrooms. Keep going until you find another large opening on
your right; turn in there and go straight.

Our meeting will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. at the NFB Jernigan Institute,
located at 200 East Wells Street, Baltimore, MD 21230. The doors to the
building will open at 9:00 a.m. Please do not attend the meeting in person
if you have a fever or are feeling ill. Also, remember to observe our
no-fragrance policy so that we can maintain a welcoming and safe environment
for all.

We invite you to come prepared to share your favorite highlights from the
recent National Convention, whether you attended in person or virtually.
We'll also begin discussing proposed chapter action on the growing issue of
e-scooter operation creating issues for the blind and other pedestrians in
Baltimore City. More details on this topic will follow in a separate
message.
