Post acknowledgement is supported by our lists. It is configurable for people on the individual options, or I can turn it on for you. 

One thing, that confuses people is that if you send a message to a list, from a gmail account, you will not see a copy of the message. Gmail, in its infinite wisdom suppresses it, figuring you already saw it.
