Hello Federationists,
This is a reminder that the monthly meeting of the Greater Baltimore Chapter
of the National Federation of the Blind of Maryland will take place
tomorrow, Saturday, February 20. You won't want to miss it, as we are
expecting a visit from Baltimore City Council President Zeke Cohen, whose
office just confirmed his planned attendance. We will also be planning a
letter-writing campaign and attendance of hearings to support our
legislative initiatives, as well as conducting all of our other usual
chapter business. If time permits, we'd love to hear your personal
highlights from our state convention last weekend.
Our meeting will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. at the NFB Jernigan Institute,
200 East Wells Street, Baltimore, MD 21230. Please do not attend in person
if you have a fever or are feeling ill. The flu has been particularly
virulent this season, so please take this precaution seriously. Remember
also to observe our no-fragrance policy so we can maintain a welcoming and
safe environment for all. If you plan to have a beverage during the meeting,
please enjoy drinking it from a spill-proof cup with a lid.
If you cannot attend in person, you can join us via Zoom:
